This month I have been captivated by the story of Abraham. His faith was so incredible. The things that he was called to do were not easy, but the reward for those things was huge and it continues on even into this generation.
The things that God asks of us sometimes don't make any sense at all. Imagine how confusing Abraham must have felt waiting years for a son and then being asked to sacrifice him. There is no way to know all of the reasons behind some of the "why's" of life, but here is what proves to be true, God provides. All of the things that he asks of us are for a purpose. It could be for us, it could be for future generations, it could be for both. His plans are always good. He is worthy of our faithfulness.
Just like he provided a ram for Abraham to sacrifice instead of his son, he will provide for us. So if says to go, we can go without fear because we are not alone.
